Paddling the Mighty MississippiFamilies: Family outdoor adventures, including kid-friendly vacations and kid-friendly camping, vacations with teenagers, and active family vacations. We’ve taken families of all ages, backgrounds and abilities on family trips with teens, grandparents, aunts, cousins and young children. If you are looking for a vacation with teenagers or grandparents or both call us!

Student groups: Each year we do many student tours and camping trips and college student trips. Our school adventure trips serve a wide variety of students from elementary and high school field trips to college student trips up north, out west and overseas. Teachers love working with us because of our field trip ideas, including many creative field trips and ideas that can meet the needs of student camping trips, tours and student field trips. WI staff are great at field trip ideas because many of them are educators themselves—they just like being outdoors! Call us if you want to discuss day trip and field trip ideas.

Other groups: We serve many groups, including women's groups, youth groups, church and synagogue groups, scout troops, corporate teams, you name it. We excel at providing activities and experiences that cater to specific needs, such as team building, spiritual retreats, kosher menus, and other services. What do others say?

“I wouldn't have changed anything! The WI trip to New Zealand was nothing less than fascinating! The food was great, the people were fun and NZ itself was beyond amazing! As student tours and school adventure trips go this was “10.” You learn so much from your WI leaders and they add so much to your trip experience.” – Dawn J., Oakmount Middle School

“I must admit, at first I thought I wouldn’t enjoy this trip. I love being with my family, but I was not sure that camping was our thing. Boy were my eyes opened! Our Yellowstone trip was special for everyone, from my Dad to our teenage daughter. The day the Elk came in to our camp was really something, and we all enjoyed the trout. Thank you WI for some really great family memories.” Bill P., Father of 5 who went to Yellowstone because his wife arranged for an extended family trip

“We've conducted trips with Wilderness Inquiry for a number of years now and it is a fantastic way for us to build the relationships between our staff, the board of directors and the trustees. these trips have also encouraged the participants to become more committed to the mission of our organization.” --Tony G, The Nature Conservancy

“I just have to thank you countless times. I've done a lot of camping and this was the best trip I think I've ever gone on. The guides were great, the students had a blast and we are excited about doing another trip with Wilderness Inquiry. I can't wait to do it again next year. Thanks a ton!” -- Brett W., U. of St. Thomas Adventure Program Coordinator
