Gustola Granola has been a long-time favorite of Wilderness Inquiry. Whether you are on the trail or on the water, it is the perfect snack for any activity. Made with simple yet nutritious ingredients, it is the perfect blend of quality and flavor. Along with a great local story we love creating new ways to enjoy this snack on trail or at home.
In the search for a healthy and filling snack for her four children, founder Angie Gustafson began experimenting with high-quality ingredients in her kitchen to find the perfect ingredients. Upon refining her recipe, she was encouraged by friends and family to expand her offerings which turned into a business. The name, Gustola Granola, was inspired by the word gusto, meaning to give pleasure or joy to something. Five years later, it is now available around Minnesota and online. You will enjoy Gustola Granola on all Wilderness Inquiry extended trips and can find this tasty snack at over 200 hundred retail locations in the metro area.
During some recent adventures on trail Wilderness Inquiry staff experimented some new ways to enjoy one of our favorite treats. By adding a few ingredients from our camp kitchen, we created a quick Granola Bite that is perfect to pack along for a paddle or hike. It’s quick, easy and you don’t even need a camp stove!
