Ed Spencer

Edson W. Spencer, Jr. is the founder and chairman of Affinity Capital Management, a healthcare focused venture capital firm with five venture capital funds and $165 million of committed capital under management. Prior to founding Affinity Capital, Ed was an officer at Dyco Petroleum, an oil and gas exploration company. Ed has stepped in as our board chair and is looking forward to the new opportunities ahead for Wilderness Inquiry.
Ed and his wife, Val, have been involved with Wilderness Inquiry since the mid 1990's. They have many interests, including visiting the Greater Yellowstone area, improving the lives of people with developmental disabilities, and increasing the capacity of the nonprofit sector.
