Overview
The Little Calumet has 109 miles of river and tributaries. The river has been undergoing construction of a flood control and recreation project since 1990. Recent local efforts have focused on raising awareness of the natural resources and surrounding areas of the river and Wilderness Inquiry is proud to lend a hand. Through Canoemobile programming and with many local partners, thousands of youth and residents have experienced the East Arm of the Little Calumet River in a unique and impactful way.
