This month marked a momentous milestone for Wilderness Inquiry as we officially moved to our new headquarters building and warehouse space in Bloomington, MN.
Based in the Twin Cities for 46 years, Wilderness Inquiry’s mission focuses on bringing people together in the outdoors. The development of our new headquarters provides the perfect base from which to strengthen our organization, further our mission and impact, and position ourselves for the growth envisioned in our strategic plan.
Midwest Roots with National Reach
Centrally located, Bloomington, MN, offers easy and proximate access to many of the local green spaces, parks, and waterways where we program. It is also in the heart of the Twin Cities, where we remain embedded in a diverse community neighborhood close to many of the people we serve, with nearby transportation hubs that lead to our program destinations across the Midwest and around the country.
The new location also meets our administrative, operational, parking, and outdoor storage needs, supporting the core of our business as we focus on advancing our mission of outdoor inclusion. As we celebrate our new home, we look forward to deepening our Midwest roots while furthering the national reach of our mission and programs.
This new headquarters location is important because it keeps us in the heart of the Midwest where we began, while also giving us the capacity to support our significant national programs and impact. This is also a space that is welcoming, and we hope a place where all of the adventurers, supporters, and partners who are central to our work and mission feel that they belong.”
— Erika Rivers, Executive Director
