Wilderness Inquiry taught me to be a leader and I want to thank you for making that possible.
Seven years ago, I joined WI through the youth leadership program. Since then, I’ve been on dozens of trips, and last summer I arranged a Boundary Waters trip for my roommate and friends. Now I volunteer weekly at Wilderness Inquiry and do a variety of tasks. Here I am filling spice bottles for tasty trail meals.
I’m proud to say that the confidence and skills I gained at WI has led me to great opportunities serving my community, including becoming the first Minneapolis Police Reserve Officer with Down Syndrome.
One thing I’ve learned is when we all work together, we go further. Your support changes lives like mine.
