Wilderness Inquiry has been bringing Chicagoans to the Chicago River since 2001. The Chicago River, running right through downtown and out to Lake Michigan, is quickly becoming a focal point of this iconic American city. What better way to take in Chicago’s incredible architecture than from a seat of a 24-foot canoe? Only a few miles from downtown, Wilderness Inquiry paddlers will find themselves in a unique urban wilderness sharing the water with egrets, herons, turtles and frogs.
