Overview
Wilderness Inquiry has been engaging Utahans on the Jordan River since 2016. The Jordan River flows from Utah Lake through Salt Lake City before emptying into the Great Salt Lake, the largest salt water lake in the Western Hemisphere. The lake is just 35-feet deep at its deepest points, causing its surface area to fluctuate significantly based on rainfall. Canoemobile participants experience the Jordan River from a unique perspective and learn about the historical and ecological significance of this major waterway.
