Overview
The St. Louis river runs 192 miles from its headwaters near Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota to its terminus at the greatest of Great Lakes, Lake Superior. The peaceful shorelines of the St. Louis are home to diverse wildlife including river otters, beavers, black bears, cormorants, and foxes. While your Wilderness Inquiry adventure will be on the seat of a voyageur canoe, come back with your raft, the St. Louis is the only river in the state that boasts whitewater rafting.
