Overview
Trail Creek is a 7.3 mile long waterway that drains into Lake Michigan. This unique waterway is one of the very few Indiana streams with water cold enough to support salmon and trout spawning. Boating and other recreation sports are quite common on Trail Creek. You can spot Canoemobile’s 24-foot Voyageur canoes on the creek throughout much of the late summer and early fall. Wilderness Inquiry has been programming on Trail Creek since 2012 and has served thousands of youth over the years.
