The National Park Service (NPS) is a government agency within the US Department of the Interior (DOI) that is tasked with caring for our nation’s 400+ national park areas. NPS works with tribes, local governments, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and individual citizens to help revitalize their communities, preserve local history, celebrate local heritage, and create close to home opportunities for kids and families to get outside, be active, and have fun. WI partners with NPS in the Twin Cities and across the country.
