Ann has led trips with WI since 1987, when she ventured out on a trip to the White Otter Wilderness. A tenacious leader, Ann is the first woman to cross the ice of both the North and South poles! While most people think of Ann as an adventurer, they are also delighted to learn how sincere and charming she is a person—Ann’s the real deal. Through it all she notes that the adventure is never the same from trip to trip, "except for the magic that happens when people work together as a team to make the trip move."
