Trail Guide

Hola mi gente! My name is Cory Maria Dack (she/her/ella). I was born on the equator in Quito, Ecuador’s capital city, and raised in the Northwoods of Duluth, Minnesota. When I’m not on trail I split my time between living in Quito and Minneapolis. I’ve been guiding canoe trips in the BWCA since 2007 and have spent the last few years leading eco-tourism & adventure trips through Costa Rica, Patagonia, and Ecuador. In the U.S. I also run full time as a Street Medic, supporting the Black Lives Matter movement in the Twin Cities and supporting our Native American leaders fighting for Environmental Justice on the Mississippi River and beyond. I see Social Justice and Environmental Justice as inextricably tied to one another, and bring that lens with me to all of my trips. My heart is so happy and excited to return to Wilderness Inquiry this summer to canoe all over the wilderness with new friends. I look forward to making some incredible memories with you on trail in the very near future! ♥
