400+ Public and Private Partnerships
Partnership is essential to Wilderness Inquiry. It helps advance our mission, deliver programs, and build opportunities for all people to experience the benefits of nature.
We proudly work with more than 400 public and private partners across the country to increase access to the outdoors, provide deeper, enriching experiences, and deliver localized expertise and program content that is geographically and culturally relevant to the communities we serve.
We also work with partners across our Pyramid of Outdoor Engagement to make warm hand-offs to other organizations that provide programming at different stages of this continuum. Our goal is for participants to build lifelong connections to the outdoors, and experiences to get there may come with Wilderness Inquiry or any number of our partners that provide complimentary programs.
we work closely with:
- Educators
- School Administrators
- Other Nonprofits
- Bureau of Land Mgmt.
- National Park Service
- USDA Forest Service
- MN DNR
- State Parks & Recreation
- Social Service Orgs.
Partners support our work in many ways, including co-designing programs, securing funding and permits, granting access to public lands, providing supplemental content, and co-leading adventures and recruitment efforts – to name a few.
